Andrée

Growing up in a small Kansas town, I was horse-crazy, owning two quarter horses and competing until my parents sold them when I left for boarding school. This loss led to years of struggle, including an eating disorder and substance abuse.

In my early 20s, seeking healing, I opened a health food store with my husband while raising three sons. I embraced yoga, which initially helped me feel whole, but life’s chaos and our family’s fast paced efforts took a toll on my mental health. After recognizing my need for help, I attended a healing center in Santa Fe, NM where equine therapy profoundly impacted me.

Reconnecting with my passion for horses transformed my life. After finding the right horse, I experienced a renewed sense of purpose and oneness with God. Now, I share the healing power of horses with my Equus Coaching clients.

I grew up riding and working in barns in New York, where I first experienced the quiet power and presence of horses. Life led me into the legal world, where I built a career as an attorney—but it was when my daughter began riding that I found myself drawn back to the barn, and back to a part of myself I had set aside.

That reconnection sparked a deeper exploration into Equus coaching, where horses become powerful partners in personal growth, clarity, and transformation.

As both a lawyer and an Equus coach, I bring a grounded, intuitive, and thoughtful approach to each session—creating a space where insight, self-awareness, and healing can unfold naturally, with the guidance of these remarkable animals.
